Out of the scanner, you will have a pointcloud.
This pointcloud is a As-Is representation of how the captured objects are build at site.
This pointcloud can be used as background inside of many 3D applications like MicroStation,
AutoCAD, Inventor, PDMS (CloudWorx for PDMS), PDS Etc.
Now the engineers can do the design and build new constuctions clash free and/or use the pointcloud for as-built documentation.
